Privacy policy

Image conversion happens on your device. This policy explains that local process and the separate data used to operate, measure, and fund the website.

Image files and conversion data

Selected images are read by code running in your browser. ConvertPics does not upload the image bytes to its servers for conversion. Source files, decoded pixels, previews, and converted outputs remain in local browser memory. They are removed when you clear the queue, refresh the page, or close the tab.

Converted files are drawn onto a fresh browser canvas. Original EXIF, GPS, camera, profile, and comment metadata is not copied to the output. The site does not provide cloud storage, user accounts, or conversion history.

Technical request data

Our hosting provider may process standard request information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, requested URL, timestamp, browser user agent, network diagnostics, and security signals. Cloudflare provides the hosting, caching, DNS, and abuse protection used by this site.

Google Analytics

With your consent, Google Analytics may receive page views, converter events, broad device and browser attributes, approximate location derived from an IP address, and cookie or device identifiers. We do not send image contents, image names, form values, email addresses, or converted output files to Google Analytics.

Analytics storage is denied by default until you accept optional cookies. Google may process information under its own terms and privacy policy. You can reject optional cookies from the consent notice.

Google advertising

If advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may place or read cookies, use web beacons, process IP addresses, and use other identifiers to serve, measure, limit, and personalize ads where consent and law permit. Third-party vendors may use cookies to show ads based on prior visits to this or other websites.

Advertising storage, ad user data, and ad personalization remain denied unless a separate compliant advertising consent flow is enabled. Where required, personalized ads will use a Google-certified consent management platform. You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services atGoogle's partner-sites policy. Cookies and local storage

ConvertPics stores your color-theme choice and consent choice in local storage. Optional Google cookies may be created after consent. Thecookie policy lists categories, purposes, and control options.

Legal bases and regional rights

Where the EEA or UK GDPR applies, necessary delivery and security processing is based on legitimate interests, while optional analytics and personalized advertising rely on consent. You may withdraw analytics consent at any time with the Privacy choices button in the site footer.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of personal data. You may also have a right to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. ConvertPics does not sell image files or create profiles from image contents.

Children

ConvertPics is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect account profiles from children.

Retention

ConvertPics does not retain source or converted images. Hosting security logs and analytics data may be retained by the relevant provider for operational, security, and reporting periods set in that provider's controls.
